Tweak, tweaking, tweak just a bit more, maybe just a bit more...
Shot these images last week and have been fussing with them and I am sure I
will fuss will them a bit more. I took the pottery from Goodwill for a spin, with
oranges and some dried seaweed, natural light, and came away with one full
flash card.
The orange was overwhelming, bright, the pottery a bit bright, but when you've
got Adobe Bridge the only thing you can't really correct is your composition.
What you can do with an image is only limited by time, your experience with
Bridge capabilities and how Jerome Robbins you want to get.
Last night I watched American Masters documentary on Robbins. If you are
interested in the history of American dance, theater, film and the evolution of
a true creative genius then check it out. On the Town, West Side Story, Gypsy,
The King and I, Fiddler on the Roof are only a few of the stories he either
created (On the Town) or made his own (Fiddler). In order to create a master-
piece, he drove himself and his actors/dancers insane. He was a perfectionist,
he was crazy creative, Sondheim calls him the only genius he's every met.
Robbins tweaked beyond what seemed humanly possible and then some more.
Did not seem to care what people thought about his need for achieving per-
fection. He wanted the best from himself and everyone else.
I am not like Robbins, too introverted, want people to like me. Have too many
interests; starting to create more creative structure for myself; need to work
on maintaining focus. Using Bridge other versions of some images were explor-
ed. Put them here for future reference.
